    How tall is your Mk4?

    Hi Guys,
After trying to work out how much lower my car is then factory, I realized I never wrote down the original heights, and even then it may have sagged a lot already.

Sooooo, thought I might try and put together a thread of all the Australian Mk4s and there various heights and set ups.

Also included parts like sway bars, end links, tyre size etc

Best way I believe to measure is from the ground to the arch.

This will also be good for newbies to see what set up might achieve what and what it will look like.
It'd be great to see some heights of stock cars also

    Car: Bora
    Engine: 2lt
    KM: 155,000+
Suspension: TA Technix Coilovers (same as hot tuning I believe)
    Sway Bar: Adjustable Whiteline
    End links: Stock
    Tyres: 195/45/17 F and 205/45/17 R
    Heights (ground to arches): 24' F and 23.5' R
Heights (centre of wheel to arch):
Comments: My 195/45 tires are WAY to small for height of my car, leaving it with a huge wheel gap that makes it look not so low

Your best to measure from the centre of the wheel to the lip of the guard since that will show how far you have dropped and gives a nice and easy distance to measure.

...or at least see a photo of her measuring (for comparison reasons of course)...

Plan on getting some KW V'3s for my birthday in about a month and see how low i can go with it still being practicable. Kinda bottoms out on my driveway at the moment but thats getting fixed with some gravel. Also eventually plan on getting some bbs lm's with spacers to get that awesome stance or in the meanwhile some r32 rims.

Bad Shot but eh, Ill get a better one someday

not sure what height im at now (pending tyres), but is anyone else notching frames on mk4s in aus???
The driveshafts have been making contact with the frame for a while now on big bumps, but after lowing the car some more its just continually sitting on them.
is it something people just dont talk about on here?

I'm nowhere near vortex low but i am definitely hitting on big bumps and it can't be my sway. So I'm looking at doing a notch. Do you know if there is a reason why(on the vortex)people sometimes only notch one side?
