Not so much the cost of the 2nd pipe/tip - thats nothing.

Its more the moving/deleting of your towhook and I think possibly even modifying the boot floorplan.

I had a quote for a custom polished stainless rear muffler, stainless piping from res back and twin tips (twin on same side though, not what your looking for) and i was quoted $700. So im guessing for just a muffler and twin tips, maybe around the 4-600 mark depending on whether you went with polished stainless.

It looks awsome, i say go for it if you can fork out the cash!

anyone know the legalities of removing the tow hook? from memory if this was removed there mey be a little more room to fit the second tip in...

yher me as well, although ill probably have another look at it when exhaust time comes

was also thinking of removing the tow hook and fitting a 'dummy' tip, although it looks like things down there are tighter than a nuns nasty and will probably make the idea short lived....

what does everyone think about this? not so much to add to the 'fulli sick' factor, but rather i reckon the shape of the MK4 rear looks bloody good with dual exhausts due to the 'boxy square' shape

    hmmmmmm

I reckon aslong as its done well (see below - maybe a touch further aprat and a touch smaller) it'd look hot as.

Dummy tips look horrible IMO. It'd look pretty damn retarded when you are gunning it and only fumes are coming out one side - Or on cold start or even in the cold! I've seen it done and just had to laugh.

Yep. I definitely agree. Dual exhausts on a MkIV look sweet as.
