Probably a few items not listed on there that would be worth doing with those amount of kms. Also, Haldex oil change (x2) should be done more frequently than suggested, I believe.

Okay well i am in a bit of 'negotiation' with dad to buy the R32. It's a blue one, 69,000kms for $32,000. Dad doesn't want to buy an R32 because he says maintenance costs are too high. Insurance for the car per year would be just under $1000.

I'm clutching at straws to find a way to prove that it wont be too expensive haha. So basically, how much does it cost you guys to maintain your R32's every year? Dad estimated about $3,000-4,000... I'm hoping it isn't that much, because i'd give my left nut for one of these things.

I've seen that one on carsales too, it looks good and hes just come down in price hasn't he.

Be aware that the Redbook value is alot less though, for one with 70K the price should be $27700, i'd be trying to get him nearer to that price.

I'm after one as well, from what i've read they seem to be extremely reliable cars, i would say it would be more like $2000 tops to keep one on the road. the chains should be done around 100000 miles (160000kms) from what i've read, and can also be checked with VAGCOM.

Have a look at www.r32oc.com for more info.
