On a slightly different topic, does anyone know a reliable source for the blend air motor for a bora, part number 1j2907511a.
I can find used ones from the uk on ebay but I dont really want to risk used and would prefer new. Good quality but not bothered about genuine or not.

Yeah thats the one, under the dash on the passenger side behind the glovebox, and in typical mk4 style, its a pain to get to and even worse to get out and i'm suspecting even worse again to put back -.-

i think mine needs changing . . i get air coming form the vents whether i like it or not ..

i was getting that then it started continuous clicking so I pulled it out and stuck something in it to hold it to recycle (tassie being pretty cold at the moment). Ill let ya know if i find somewhere that does new ones and any tips for replacing if you like.

that would be great man !!
at the moment it forces me to leave the aircon on most of the time when it gets too humid ..
