Hi guys,
Although I've been on VWVortex for a while I've only recently found this site and it's great to see I'm not the only crazy, passionate Golf owner
Given the rarity of the Mk IV R32's in Oz and even moreso those that are boosted, I thought I'd post a few pics.
Hi to all

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome
Neil, it's a VF Stage II supercharger so Vortech V9 blower running reasonably mild boost (around 6psi) but with the stock CR, it just adds that little bit of extra oomph - they quote 350bhp but realistically that's at redline.
Having owned and raced many WRXs and STis, this is enjoyable as it is something different, handles very well (with ESP off) and with a bit of boost can be competitive.
Because I used it for club-level motorsport and driver training days I have K&W V3 suspension with adjustable top hats and am running R-spec tyres.
Steve, enjoy your MkV they're also very nice - we had one up at the hillclimb a few weeks ago. I went in as an instructor - It wasn't as loud/aggressive but I was very impressed with how it went and it was smooth.
Trent, happy to be your best friend if I can help. I'm no mechanic but I've certainly learned a lot having refitted the supercharger myself a few timesI'm sure there are lots of guys with good knowledge on this forum and I'm looking forward to learning more as well.
Future plans are a bit more boost - possibly migrating to VF's new turbo targeted at 400+bhp.
Cheers
Steve
The stage 2 I fitted ran as high as 9.4 psi . VF now make a stage 3 and there is also a stage 3+ kit as well .
when you turn the ESP off does it stay off ? or does it kick back in ?
My ESP turns off but kicks back in, bloody dangerous if you ask me.
