Hi Matty, thanks for the awesome welcome - yes the mythical supercharged R32 in Perth is real In fact truth be known there are 2 although I haven't formally met the other owner.

Runamuk, the German car day sounds good - we will try and make it to kings park on the 27th.

The hillclimb pic is at Mt. Ommaney in Northam. The WRX club hires the road once or twice a year and we do 'driver training' there. We also do this for Collie, Barbagello, AHG etc.

Trent, to answer a few of your questions:-
The kit is certainly useable every day although it really depends on what you're used to and what you're prepared to put up with. The supercharger whine is a little noisy mostly at idle but I like it. My R-spec tires are probably the noisiest thing on my car as I don't have a spare set of rims/road tyres and the K&W V3's are set up for track so fairly harsh on the road.

In terms of reliability, the VF kit is a very tight fit and this makes it prone to a few problems which made it a bit challenging in the beginning. Things like the main intercooler pipes which are actually a special plastic, great for heat reduction, but they do need to be checked as they can pop out. Getting the supercharger belt tight enough and at the right tension is also challenging especially because our HIDs in Australian/Euro R32's are right up against where the S/C needs to go. The first couple of months these little things did drive me a bit nuts but once they were sorted it is just awesome fun and touch wood it has been really nice and stable for the last few months.

I have heaps of pics as I have pulled the entire kit in and out about 3-4 times to fix various small fitment issues and because I am no mechanic, I recorded each key step so that I would remember where bits went Rather than post them here, I might pop them up on a small website in the next few weeks and then post a link for those who are interested. The washer bottle is actually replaced by a different once, supplied in the kit.

    Cheers to all
    Steve

Cheers mate. Lots of food for thought now.
No more questions for the moment unfortunately. I'm sure they will come though. A website of pics would be awesome.

Isnt ECS american ? Just remember there are quite a few differences. Probably better to get someone to build a kit up for you.
