Help with rear wiper arms (MK4 GTI)

Hey all,

im not sure if i did it correctly BUT my rear wiper arm doesnt move????

i checked the instruction manual and it said to push the right hand side stick foward once and it should initiate the rear wiper arm to move, but it doesnt....

does anyone have the same problem or know whats the problem for it to not work???

On my mark V the rear will only work if the front ones are on the first setting,then click towards the front ?

i have a spare motor with wiper arm if you end up needing one done about 40,000k's.

Mk4's don't need the front wipers on to work. Does the rear washer jet work? Could be a problem with the stalk.

Yeah the rear washer jet works fine just the wiper arm doesnt move..... whats the stalk? or is that another word for the wiper arm?
