    i don't want to start a war but when I got my Polo it had some green coolant in it. The head looks visually worse in the water ways than the one from my replacement engine.

    Hi. I believe Penrite have recently released a coolant that is VW G12+ approved.

    Cant agree more, ive seen the inside of plenty of VW motors that have ran the wrong stuff and its not pretty, if you choose to use the "other Red stuff" u MUST make sure the system is flushed to the max, yes it is compliant but is a must that the system is clean, cost of G12 or G13 as it is now isn that bad anyway so its a no brainer to use the right stuff imo.
