have you tried touching your wheels after a good spirited drive?
Hi - I want to paint my hubs and spacers the same colour to make them less obvious - can I use normal paint or do I need heatproof caliper paint for this purpose? Any ideas?

it depends how you drive.
i've done my hubs & calipers in the past with standard pressure pack & they've been fine but if you tend to get up it a bit then you'll need paint that will take some temp.

heat proof will probably be cheaper and less effort in the long run
Time to visit supercheap and the 3m aisle...

i'm with Brad on this one.
depends on how you drive... but considering you should really heat up your brakes when bedding in the new pads normal paint will flake off if you are doing this properly.
the extra cost is worth the time and effort when having to redo this job.
Is the cost differential really that much? Or is it about the colour you want not being available??
