bloody hell Hayden! I havent checked in in a while and you've gone to town. That looks unreal. Yeah provided you have an engineers certificate for it being a 2 seater, then you can legally have a half cage. They be pinging you for no airbag in the seat and/or seat not ADR approved or seat rails not ADR approved before that. Definitely the winged lateral head supports on the seat are illegal.
If you need the number of an engineer who'll give you the 2 seater ticket I know a guy who'll do it for 600 bucks. Not sure if you remember it from the hillclimbs but my mate Pete's Clio W172 was done by him.

Re: engineering. I am pretty much going to do 0KM’s in this car now, so no point.

I also want to change the engine and gearbox combo so no point engineering twice over.

Long term plan. With a bit of luck this engine will stick together for a while yet.

Wrecked golf R’s are still more money than what I could sell this R32 for. So financially makes sense. Logically doesn’t I agree!

They are a touch lighter. But they are also 298mm
