GTI springs lower compared to other models?

yeah sort of. the H&R springs did drop my front about 10mm, but the rear of the car remained the same height, so i've got a bit of rake going on... probably due to varition in the new springs rather than variation in sagging of the originals (so much for H&R's claimed quality control)
But compare my car next to a stock 2.0 of 1.6, and you will definetely see how it is lower. wheel gap is especially huge on non gti's standard suspension

I like the raked effect - gives the appearance of forward motion even at rest (!)

Currently my springs seem to be sitting a fraction higher at the front which I'm not so keen on ... (reverse rake :( ) I'm hoping they drop a bit over time.
