    GTI Gauge best setup?

Im going to buy a MK-4 GTI for my 1st car (Been one of my favorite cars since i saw one flyyyy past me when i was about 6 haha) and just wondering what are the most important gauges...?

will more than likely be a Pillar setup unless someone can show me something nicer... or had bad experience with them and can tell me something to steer me away...

    Thanks lhennessy

i think a-pillar gauges are illegal in alot of states. i think youll be right with just a boost guage most other guages arent really needed unless you're going for big hp and need to keep an eye on things like oil temp and pressure etc. i have my boost guage mounted on the steering column. looks almost factory with my indigo blue boost guage

yeah vent guages are good too, the collumn pods dont really block anything but i dont have a mfd so not sure if thatd be an issue on later cars. you can get offset collumn pods

mate the guages are pretty easy to wire up, one suggestion id have is to wure it up using the dimmer circut so you can dim the guage with the dash lights. i dont think a vent guage would be that difficult to wire up. you're gonna be taking a fair bit of the trim out euther way
