Wouldnt it be cheaper to take it to a shop and have it modified so it fits your car? Remus are beautiful systems
Hey guys I just have query,
I bought a axle-back remus exhaust made for a beetle recently and was told it fits my mk4 2.0 golf, it does, just not well and fouls on the rear left spring. So anyway I'm looking at getting a new exhaust and as I don't have too much money, etc. I'm thinking a stock gti catback exhaust, I know they are a 55mm not 50mm, but if I put in a spacer I'm thinking they should fit?
If anyone has any other suggestions let me know, just don't say put the stock 2.0 one back on! ( I had to cut it anyway)
PS. If anyone wants a nice remus exhaust for their beetle let me know, it will just need a new muffler mount. I will be putting it on the selling page when it's off.
Thanks,
Tom.
