good vw mechanic with a vagcom in melbourne?

Does anyone know of a good vw mechanic in melbourne? i need to have a few things looked and some diagnostics run. I have been to both volksaffair in south melbourne and volkspower in burwood and in general i was fairly happy with both. However I am interested to find out if there are any other mechanics that people would highly recommend based on their work and customer service. Also someone with reasonable prices for parts (i am not saying that the above mentioned dont provide all of these, i just want to know if there are others around that i dont know about).

Well I went to see james on thursday and all I can say is a HUGE thumbs up. You know how very rarely you just get the feeling about someone being 100% genuine, well thats james down to a tee. He absolutely loves his VW's an Audi's (doesnt work on anything else) and is one of those blokes that will take on a job that he knows is not worth his while just because he loves what he does. I was in his shop for at least 30 min even though the place was full and while he ran the vagcom we chatted (or more he explained in detail and i listened) about a number of issues that i was having, he pointed things out on a similar car he had up on a hoist and if the place wasnt full im sure he would have had my car up there in a flash. So he booked me in for this week and gave me an estimated quote on what i needed fixed (already half of what i have been quoted elsewhere) all the while repeatedly refusing any sort of payment for his time and the diagnostic.. please dont get me wrong, im not goodbloking him because he didnt charge me, i would be happy for him to charge more than anywhere else just for him to be working on my car, as I know he will treat it like his own. thanks a million fknDubbin
