No idea what happened to the mirror. Probably side swiped something unless it got vandalised?? the glass and housing is completely gone the flat bracket where the motor for the glass mounts is all that is left.... If you were serious, get him to have it replaced or knock extra off because of it. The rest of the car seemed fine.

Not sure where you'd source the R seats from. The Mk4's are rare enough as it is. Dare say you'll be paying through the nose for them if you find a set... Leave the steering wheel. Money could be spent better else where.

Ah true, must have done it after he posted up the pics on carsales. Im sure it wont cost that much to repair? Yeah i thought they would be rare. Im actually considering this now haha. Cant afford an R32

Please dont try and make it an R32 though, it isnt one.... Its like putting GTR stickers on a non GTR..

Hahaha dam you. I don't see how this would hold its value better than an R32, because if you were in the market for a 6 cylinder golf, why would you buy this over and R32?

the guy Paul that owns this is a top bloke and this car was in imaculate condition when i seen it / drove it when i picked up the wing i bought off him. this car is very looked after and if the mirror is missing im sure he would get it fixed or get a new one for you. Also it is the only one in australia. he will not just sell it to anyone they have to have the passion for Dubs but this is going back to last year when i spoke to him.

If I bought it I wouldn't do anything in the ways of making it an R32. Replace the woodgrain, some new wheels and that'd be about it. Don't make it what it isn't, it is better being the unique car it is!.
