Golf VR6
Hey guys,
Anyone know anything about this car? Its been on carsales for sooooo long. I'm starting to consider it now as i am too pleb to buy an R32. Thinking i'll put R32 body kit on it and seats in it and all that jazz.
Cheers guys.

I'm a p-plater, i cant drive forced induction![]()
Thats a MK4 V6, so should be the 24V 150kw version. Not the MK3 12V 128kw ..... also, obviously not the 3.2 177kw ....
That aside, it is a nice car and should be a steal for about $17K .... bear in mind that MK4 R32s can be had for mid $20Ks though ....
this however is unique and should hold it value better ... probably the only 1 in Australia ....

Ah well if its the 24valve VR6 i might be a bit more interested. Yes, but the R32's that go for mid $20,000 have 100,000kms on them. I more after a car with only 50,000-60,000kms on it. An R32 with that many kms on it would be more around $30,000 wouldn't it?
Same engine as the V6 4Motion Bora .... 150kw/270NM
Can also be chipped ..... various companies should be able to help you out with that .... Typically around 165kw/300NM afterwards ........ be a very nice and unique ride ....

Hmmm i want it now haha. Apart from the engine, what are the main differences between this and the R32?
If i were to buy this, i would end up trying to turn it into an R32, except with the 2.8 VR6, do you think if i were achieve this, i would have been better off just buying an R32?
How hard do you guys think it would be to acquire an R32 body kit, wheel and seats? Im guessing very hard.
Bodykit and wheels won't be that hard to obtain.... Can be sourced from ECS Tuning.
Wouldn't bother with the seats, existing ones are fine and still leatherSaw this thing @ Manly on the weekend and it's very clean. They only thing needed addressing straight up is a lack of drivers side mirror.. it's royally FARKED at the moment. Wheels are nice, bodykit is nice enough.
Oh and if you add an R32 badge to it, be prepared to cop a royal slap to y0 face![]()
