golf rear tail light

more of a question then seeking help..

just replaced the bulbs on my car and i noticed that theres another set of bulbs that i havent seen work b4.

the bottom bulbs dont seem to turn on..
the top ones are brake lights then the middle are normal red lights... but the bottom ones?

Only the drivers side works.
You can modifiy it so both work.

turn your headlights on and then pull the switch out one notch. run around the back (obviously put your hand brake on ) and see if the drivers side is on.

No, 2 notches for rear. Front is triggered at 1st notch.

Oh, well depending on if you have front fogs or not! Sorry...

EDIT: two if you have front (as JustCruisn said) and only one if you only have rear fogs
