Are the wires going to the lower bumper hooked into the oem loom or separate?
Hi fellow golfers , could someone please direct me to the thread that can answer my question ...im new here and i have a 1999 golf mk4 it has plugs where the fog lamps in the lower grille would plug into it has a switch that when i turn it to fog lamps the fog lamp light on the dash lights up it has a fuse that supplies power to that light dash light but no power goes to the plugs i wish to fit the poplular after market grill lamps regards John

i had to run new wires ( bought a ready made loom to do it ) and get a new switch to install my lower bumper fog lights as the wiring wasn't there from factory , it was a super simple straight forward job to
yep just tried the switch and it can only be pulled out once and the wires going down to the lower bumper are part of the oem loom and would like to try to use them but if not then its plan B cheers for the reply
surely if the plugs are part of the wiring there must be a way to use them ???
oops ok my bad , just double checked and i only assumed that there were two plugs and u know what they say about assuming LOL ,looks like i'll be doing it aarons way
