i managed to change mine without removing the bumper, but as you mentioned the battery will have to be removed

the H3's are easier as you can see what youre doing and the clip that holds them in is easy enough to do back up

my main problem was with the H7's, the clip that holds them in sort of has to be pushed in and slid to the left (if youre facing the car) and i find you have to do this without being able to see what youre doing as the position doesnt let you see properly

i found the easiest way to see what was going on was to stick my digicam in there and take a pic of the setup so i could get my head around it all, once i did this i had it all back together in no time

edit: oh and with your H7's you should get some parkers too, there reletively easy to fit - i just used some long nose pliers/fingers to jiggle the holder a bit and it came out
