Generic Bonnet Strut replacement.

Hi Folks,

Opened my bonnet today and my strut had gone.

I just thought I'd mention that if you need a strut in a rush then Supercheap stock Calibre CSS311 Gas strut that is a perfect fit replacement.

They have it listed for AU falcons so I'd imagine any for that car should fit.

It makes the bonnet ever so slightly harder to push down then what it was previously. But its pretty unnoticeable.

Yeah I was really surprised when the 2nd one I pulled off the shelf was a perfect match. As silly as it is it actually kind of made my day.

Will keep it in mind, as I need to replace the one on my Beetle, and I'm pretty sure they're the same part.
