You're making me ever so worried about the arp rod bolts i have in my car lol!
Have you thought about sending an email off to peloquin themselves? You never know they might take sympathy and reimburse you some costs in the best case scenario!
Well it sure as hell isnt your fault.... either the mechanice stuffed the install, or the replacement bolts are insufficient .. take your pick.
in the other thread they mention a lifetime warranty on the lsd? Follow it up with peloquin and see what they say!

Sooo just another n00b question from me... but what bolts do other lsd manufacturers use to secure them? quaife, wavetrac etc.
Or does each lsd come with propriertry boltz?
VAG ones have the crown wheel rivetted to the differential and if the differential is replaced, then these are drilled out and then replaced with the bolts in question.
I am VERY interested in this thread as I have the same gearbox/differential and may be forced into a differential upgrade
Edit: And they all use ARP bolt kits these days

I have contacted Gary about the issue (Gary Peloquin ) and at this point I might see if I can send him the diff and ring gear for him to inspect / instal some new bolts. Im sure he should be able to do it right ;P
Yeah hope this goes ahead mate, sending it over there, keen to see the outcome, so far has been a horrible read, sick to the stomach reading it and its not the first. The other story tagged on here isnt pleasant either.
On the upside man your cool head needs an award.
Hope some good comes out of this along with some answers, i know back in the day it was the be all and end all to rid the rivets, but now seen a couple of bolts let go, i have a Peloquin in my shed with a sheared bolt and that gearbox was totalled. The one i have is from an 02R Polo Gti that had been installed elsewhere but same thing happened , shear and poke through the casing as they do, gearbox emptied itself to a grinding halt.

I only just bought a big box of bike parts the other day from the us which weighed the same as the diff and it cost me 50 USD ..... am I missing something here or are they having a lend of me ?
heavier items are a rip at aus post, try a courier mate.
