Front sway bar

Looking to replace some bushes just to refresh the front end a bit, just wondering the frotn sway bar stock size on a 2001 GTI if anyone knows?

Not sure if it's the same across all models, but mine is (or was ) 21mm on a mk4 2.0.

I have a feeling its the 21mm, but I dont even have calipers to get under a check

I just got mine replaced and I'm pretty sure it was around 21/22mm (cant quite remember now) Mine is a 2001 GTI

I just want to replace the D bushes on it. Could someone please measure theirs on the GTI by any chance?

I did one that had the bed spring creak so best you check the OD and then the OD where the bush sits, no doubt after you clean it itll be 1mm under. From memory the sway was 22mm and i fitted 21mm poly bushes lubed and it was whisper quiete.
Dont just rely in the sway measurement, i would recommend measure the wear area when super cleaned
