Front Hub Spindles

Hi all,

Have aquired some 4motion/TT brake calipers and carriers thinking they would bolt straight on to my mk4. After several hours of cleaning and preping for paint, before I painted them I thought I better check that they fit and they dont. The hub spindles on my car have a fixed carrier setup for the pads and while the caliper will bolt on, I cannot get the bigger diameter disc an pads to fit.

Soooooo, my question is this:

How much is it going to cost me to get a pair of eligible front spindles with bearings?

I had new front bearings fitted about 3-4 months ago so it annoys me that I can't just bolt these on, that I will probably have to fit new bearings as well on top of the spindles.

If it doesn't look financially viable, keep an eye out in the for sale section for a set of freshly cleaned 312mm calipers and carriers..........
