    Found this in my glovebox.

    Hi All,

Any ideas where this comes from??

Found it in my glovebox of my golf mk4 2003 2.0L Sport.

It's just 1 piece, I took 2 photos of it on different angles.

    Thanks,
    K.

They come out of the door cards, they're used to hold the card to the panel

There are many reasons to remove the door card.
The most common is to fix the window when it falls inside the door.
Next would be to fix a broken door lock module
    3rd to replace a speaker.
    Or to apply window tint.

ok thanks. But just wondering why did they not put that plastic thing back in when they put it back together. Just had a look at the service history looks like they fixed the central locking.

I've found a couple after putting things back together. They have knack of falling out and being invisible.

Like anything you pull apart and repair. There is always one screw or nut left over.

Maybe they broke one and bought a couple just in case another one went.
