    fog light

hi every one, any of you try to fit an after maket fog light to your 01 bora? i'm thinking of hooking up one, but i dont want to drill any hole in my dash for the on and off switch and i dont know wher to put one. Any of you guys try to hook them up to the current factory switch head/driving lights or try to mount an on and off switch some where with out drilling in your dash?

There are fog lights standard ??? Why wouldn't you just wire it to come on with the standard fog lights ? Also, one of the other spec cars had fog lights down in the lower grilles... it looks quite alright.

i dont have a fog light at the moment in my car, was thinking of wiring it direct to my standard park light, but i want to have a control of turning them on and off just incase cops pull me over, coz by law you not allowed to have them on in normal driving condition.

I thought all Bora V6 4Motions came with foglamps standard.

Of the two smaller circles on the left, the foglamp is the bottom one.

To switch them on, you pull the round/rotary headlight switch out one position.

Two positions turns the rear fog lamp/s on.
    Nothing to see here...

surely you would just hook them into the headlight switch with the pull out click for fogs? you would have much less of an issue if you got pulled over too i would think if there were connected to something stock on the car rather than an aftermarket switch! if you don't have that pull out click switch just buy a european headlight switch which has 2 pull out stops - front fog then rear fog.

edt: european switch as in the 2nd pic Manaz just posted (beat me to it mate )

the symbol on the switch itself should illuminate green to indicate the front fogs are turned on. if you pull it to the second click, you'll see the rear fog light symbol light up on the main dashboard cluster
