Would be pretty hard to get a pic haha.

I just gave a machinist a stock KW spring hat and told him I needed the thinnest possible (3mm) Teflon spacer/bush/bearing type thing. You'd need to measure your spring ID and OD and give them to a machinist.

Could be worth finding a couple more jobs for him cus the machinists down here charge minimum $100. So even if they only cost $10 he'd still charge $100.

After doing a few more km's theres been some progress on the washers.

So if stationary, there is no bind whatsoever. Unfortunately there is some noise at slow speeds occasionally. Less than before but it's still happening.

Currently I have them sitting on top of the helper spring under the spring hat. I'll try and move them to the bottom of the spring and see if that does any thing.

Not much has been happening with the car lately. I'm going to Brisbane next week so have been putting most of my money aside for that.

I did happen to eliminate the noise from the camber tops on one side. I installed both side a little different from each other. And I'm going to leave it down to the spring hat not being aligned properly on the Camber top. So when bolting them up you need to disconnect the Swaybar link, and make sure the spring hat seats properly.

Over the next couple of months I'm planning on a full bush refresh along with tie rods and ball joints. The car has 172K on it now and I highly doubt they've been changed before. Also going to send my V3's down to EVLmotorsports to be rebuilt. And I still need to sort the wheel situation out haha.

    I'll get there one day.

I'm surprised you even got onto EVL. Everytime I called it rang out and none of my emails received replies....

Not sure yet, I've read that OS it costs about $170 a shock. So I'd be happy if it cost $800 all up. Pretty pricey but A small price to pay considering what they're worth brand new haha.

Funny you say that haha :/ Emailed them this time yesterday and still haven't heard anything back. That doesnt make me feel very confident about it haha. We'll see.

ON another note, the LM's were dropped at the media blasters today. $100 for all 4 centres blasted which isnt too bad. I'm picking them up tomorrow and will drop them straight at the powdercoaters.

LOL! Hope you have more success than me mate!!

Also maybe shoot turbo54 (Heath Riggs on R32 facebook group) a PM, I think he may know the KW reps in Aus? So that could be another avenue for you mate.
