Floor mat questions

Hey,

Does anyone have any idea if the USA floor mats are different to the australian ones? I cant for the life of me figure out why the clip will not clip onto the round tabs in the carpet. They are both round not the oval type. Any one know what im doing wrong?

Rear mats should be the same.

Front mats will be shaped differentlu because they are a LHD market.

Not sure how the round tabs work. I have the oval ones and theres a clip that spins around so you can fit the mat, then spin it 90 degrees to lock in place

The round ones just click into place, no twist lock.


Different diameter on the plugs or slightly different spacing on the floor maybe? I tried to get a replacement clip for one of my mats and discovered there were different versions, even of the round ones. You might have the plug (on the floor) of one sort and the clip on the mat of the other sort.
Are all the pieces the same diameter overall?
