    Flasher relay

    Hi All,

anyone know if the flasher relay in the MK4 Bora is electronic? Thinking of getting some led replacement bulbs for the indicators. If it is not electronic, is it easy to change? Thanks

As long as you get LEDs with inline resistors so that their resistance is the same as regular bulbs, there shouldn't be any issues, regardless of how the flasher unit operates.
    Nothing to see here...

ok, say the leds have no inline resistance. Is the flasher relay unit in the Mk4 electronic? If not, can it be changed to an electronic one? I can easily replace the one in my Seat Ibiza, but am wondering about the Mk4.
