Did the tyre deflate? I had a lump like that in a MK1 Golf Pirelli wheel that stayed up and ran true. Had it straightened no worries.

Obviously a replacement would be good but might not be easy to get in the short term.

yea tyre deflated and then when i tried to get some air in it to see if it would hold it just came straight out.

Replacement for these guys is pretty scary as it's not as if there are any second hand ones lying around. Scared as to what new would cost. If it can't be fixed i'll be finding some aftermarket rims i think.

I had a bad experience tracking my last daily driver.... my gearbox expired on the last turn at Oran during a club run supersprint a few years back. Thankfully it jammed itself in 2nd and I was able to nurse the car back to Five Dock with lots of clutch riding and high revs.

That rim looks repairable, so long as there isnt an cracks the rim should maintain its strength. You might want to run another set of rims for track days in future..

Sounds like you had a fun day up until then.
Looks so funny with that space saver. So lucky you had it though.
    Cheers,

Both days i had overheating issues in the pug. Radiator hose 1st time and then the thermo. The laps it worked i was doing 1.21's but in traffic. Could have done a 1.19 or high 18 if all worked well. Think i could have gotten the R32 down to the 1.15.5 if i had a few more laps.
