    Put me down.

Can any of the guys who got a dogbone mount in the last group buy tell us if the street is firm enough? Did anyone get a track density mount?

This is from INA on Vortex:

The track density dogbone offers minimal slop in the set up.I found from personal experience that the street density engine and transmission mount + the track density dog bone is the perfect combination.

I wonder if the track density dogbone mount is too much on its own...

Also can someone please confirm that these are rubber and not urethane stuff??

I got the street one, and while it was noticeably different when I installed it, I don't even notice it now and wish that is was a bit firmer. I would want to know the shore hardness of both before making a decision. I think the Street was 50A (stock is 45A), I would stay away from Track (for street use) if its more than 65A.

Maybe I should get the other mounts too?? Is there any option available through this supplier for uprated versions of the other 2 mounts?

I'm interested in the street density Dogbone mate, so add me to the list if you could please. Will they fit all mk4 including 2.0 non GTI like mine?

Are there any installation instructions for these that come with the package?

I'm in, but $90US + post is their regular price (going by that thread), so i'd hope we could get better - and 10 buyers would put it over $1k aud, which means GST + Customs... unless there's some "creative" accounting going on.

I was thinking the same thing Fury, unless they can put a different price on the package or something (I don't know how it works) it will be over the threashold.

We WILL get better pricing if we can secure an order with 10 or more mounts.

Fella's - Just FYI on mounts - we have our version of these in stock - normal retail $99-00 and we have a soft "sport" version of 70 Duro & a harder 80 Duro "track" version.

These are 100% made in Australia (you know - keep an Aussie in a job) and were designed to feel firm without harshness (sport).

We also have all the testing data from two other brands (some of which are combined some 500% stiffer than stock).

And pretty much every APR dealer keeps them on the shelf.

Have not tested the versions in the group buy, but we know these mounts well & spent a couple of months getting them right.
