ECS Tuning Pat on the back.

I had to get in touch with ECS Tuning with regard the engine designation for my Bora. I have an APK and the US equivalent is an AEG. They were quick to reply to my query and at times even replied to further questions within the hour.

Robert from there even created a link to the parts required and added it to the e-mail. The service has been much better than I've had over the years with Australian companies. I will certainly be dealing with them again.

Can anyone give me an idea how long the express postage takes to get here? They said 3-4 days but who knows with the post office.

Don't know when express post is out of the country. I find even with normal post from outside the country i get my stuff quicker then i do from sydney or qld. like a few days, so id imagine that would be right for express post.

Edit: im getting wheels from NZ and they are only ment to take 3-5 days through normal post, so yours would be quicker again

A little off topic but, Dylan did you get your wheels through trademe?
If so, was it an easy transaction?

I have to agree with you there. I just bought a heap of stuff from ECS and they are extremely easy to deal with! My package is coming via UPS and after being shipped on the 7th, and is estimated to arrive by the 13th!

Hey mate to give you an idea in regards to express post. I ordered a few bushes and bearings and the like from them on NYE (31/12/09) With all the public holidays and what not, there were at my reception at work on the 4th of January !

I don't think Australia Post could beat that sound of time even with regular post !

ECS are a top bunch to deal with and with my dealings with them in the past are only more than helpful to answer any queries and are definitely one of the quickest i've dealt with in terms of automotive companies in terms of replying emails and delivery

I just ordered some ignition coils from them. Great price @ $30 US each. cheapest I could get it for locally was $75. So $126 delivered vs $225, gotta love that!

Looking good. I've been tracking them through USPS. They went through Australian customs this morning, so they should be here this week. Hopefully I wont be using 18 l/100km after I fit them.
Mine were posted on 7th January and expected delivery date is also 13/1 so I hope I get them tomorrow. Although knowing Australia Post it will take another week. It took 2 weeks for a small parcel from Melbourne to Kalgoorlie.
