Dpmperformance sells coilovers and spacers too. You maybe able to stay under 1000 depending on what coilovers and spacers you go for. decent exchange at the moment too.

Is that in US dollars or AU. My order came to $1017 when coverted to AU. Do you get slugged a portion or whole lot.
It's funny tracking the parts, so many stops before thay arrive.
My parts are in Honolulu at the moment. Quite a good service, scheduled for delivery on Monday which will make it 1 week in transit.

They cant make you pay tax on shipping, so you are only charged for the goods

If thats including shipping costs you'll be fine otherwise your going to get slugged. Its on the total value including shipping (see below)

They do, The bracket of $1000 is on the value of the item but if you go over it the duty tax is on the item and shipping.

The VoTI is the sum of:

    the Customs value (Cval)
transport and insurance cost (or postage and insurance) (T&I)
    any duty payable, plus
    WET (if applicable).

My items just arrived, the order was $1017 including shipping and I paid no duty.
    Now......
If I re-order from ECS does the $1000 limit re-start or carry forward to the next order.

I was lucky to have a US seller (illegally) list the price of my wheels as $800 although they were quite a bit over $1000. No duty!

The $1000 limit is for each shipment so it doesn't carry forward.

Thanks, I thought that was the case.
I found that with ECS, if you order multiple items the shipping cost is reasonable.
I ordered them Sunday, processed on Monday and received today ( Friday). Just 4 days.
Pretty good service, beat my parts from the UK which are coming by post.
