    Or better yet just do the Joey mod, you can do it in an afternoon and it's even quicker with a friend!

    How long ago did you do that blue_reality? How did you find the quality of the lights?

    Lights are great. Good build. (They cost around $400 so aren't $50 bodgy ones and the rears are genuine Hella which were also around $400)

    Only thing is the light pattern slants up towards the right because they are designed for right-hand road use. But all in all really happy with them.

    The place I got them from is MARS_PERFORMANCE. You'll find them on ebay.

    Did it a few weeks ago.

    Can someone confirm that the Joey mod can be done here.
    I read somewhere about the Mk4 lights here in Aus not able to be opended to paint the interior...

    Anyone?

    2004 Mk4 2.0L Sport (If that helps).

    I made the big mistake of ordering those lights and lets just say after about 6 months of paypal disputes it was finaly resolved and i got my money back so i was lucky, i wont even start on what was wrong with them becasue there was one hell of a list but i learnt quality is everything,

    Good heads up.

    I am def going with just trying to source an original pair, and opening them up, and spraying. DIY.
