E46 M3 bits to fit into Mk4 Generation Golf

Hi all, long time no see, over the weekend in a flash moment of boredom I purchased a BMW 2001 E46 M3 black leather interior (FnR Seats) with the vague idea I might get the fronts into my mothers Generation 2L Golf.

How shall I do this? Anyone seen a thread hidden with BMW to VW transfers?

Are the m3 seats on a single rail or 2?

I see welding in your future ... You might be able to use parts from the existing seats, but test fitting will be crucial.
