They came up a treat.
RE: R32 rack, you'll need the steering angle sensor / clock spring (it's all one unit) as well. Otherwise your ABS/ESP system will give a different reading to the physical rack and throw errors. A rack out of TT or S3 I imagine would be identical to R32.
Pretty sure I remember reading somewhere Simon stuck one in his Bora Turbo, he should have more info on this.

Not much to update.
Passenger side Cv boot let go and drivers rear wheel bearing was getting loud.
Cv boot was a easy fix, the rear was not so much fun.
The orginal dust shield fell to pieces, not only were the caliper/carrier bolts rusty and siezed, any that had been out previously were rounded. the sensor was held in by a screw and two nuts which meant the new larger shield wouldnt fit.
Lucky I had the old rear bean from my bora in hand so new stub Axel and hardware went in with the bearing. Bigger dust shield is in preperation for 256mm rotors

Hey Mate, I've fitted a mk4 r32 rack to my Bora along with ckock spring, I'm still getting Esp issues. Other posts seem to suggest a whole heap of stuff that needs changing. I'm planning to haze the Esp coded out. Hope it helps.
got some floor grommets/plugs from VW as mine were missing or toast.
car was INSTANTLY quieter even doing the two in the wheel well.
Strongly recommend checking them people.
Hopefully keep the boot a bit drier too.
Quick service, oil was much cleaner this time. The cooked turbo or whatever was going on when the motor was the previous car must have filled it with sludge.
What size brakes you plan on running on the back Dyl?
