Does anyone do a chip for Bora V64mo?

    Howdy Guys,
Buddy of mine has a V6 4mo and is wondering if anyone does a chip for them? He hasn't been able to find any as yet.

    Cheers
    Simon

I had mine reflashed by Custom Code. They are a fairly big player in the UK, only just recently in Australia. Talk to Gavin (aka h100vw) in this thread:

It was a fairly mild increase in power, but definitely noticeable, especially higher in the rev range. I now have cold air feed to K&N in stock box, Miltek exhaust, and Custom Code software and the Bora now has enough power to keep me satisfied.

There are couple of other out there, one in Perth if I recall correctly

in my experience, these beasts arent popular with ecu work, beside from what i have seen, the gains aren't huge.

I know H100vw is an aussie agent for custom code, and they have a program for the v6

Thanks guys, I had a look at APR and Oettinger but neither seem to do em, the small gains is the reason why I guess.

I just met Gavin yesterday while he flashed my GTI. Great bloke, very nice and definitely knows his dubs. Not sure how much gain you get on the Bora, but I can definitely recommend him based on my car and his service!

    Hey Simon,

Any chance to advise what type of gains you can get from this type of reflash, especially in terms of engine response and torque?

A reflash or chip is really only as good as the guy who's tuning it, so I'd be interested to see how you could improve on the V6s (already impressive) mid-range punch.

REVO do a reflash, I haven't trialled it yet as I believe the trials don't give the same feeling as the real thing. Speak to James at Audvolks if you are in Melbourne for REVO.

Hi Guys, NA flashes are mainly about flexibility.

    Data on the 4Motion.

I have done a couple of 4 motions and the owners have been happy with the small but noticeable gains.

    Gavin
