I think you got the title mixed up.
I wouldn't bother redrilling the disks, it seems an integral part of the car.
You would be better off finding a set from something with the same pcd i.e. Audi S3 (8L) or Audi TT (Gen 1), maybe Mk4 R32
Hi guys. Did a search and couldn't find the answer.
Apart from the PCD being different (assuming you can redrill the discs), do Mk5 GTi front brakes bolt onto a Mk4?

Yeah Clay, stuffed up the title. Mods can fix that one.
Looking at bolting Mk4 brakes onto a Mk5 and wasn't sure if the hubs/mounts are the same.
I can redrill rotors to suit the 112 PCD.
Thought someone may have tried it the other way and tried fitting Mk5 brakes on a Mk4.
Anyone know?

The spacing on the brackets is very different. Polo GTI brakes would go on but they are still 288 and cannot be bumped up to 312 due to the design.
I have MK5 GTI calipers, brackets and pads, if that's what you are looking for??

I doubt you could mount the mk5 brakes your best choice is the bora v6/tt mk1 brakes (312mm) and they will just bolt up mix in some nice rotors (dba4000 on mine), stainless lines and some fast road pads and its a serious package
