Do 17" inch rims look to small?

I think mine look a little small, but I have faith they will look alright when I drop it. If I had bigger wheels the ride would be horrible on my roads as is without lowering. Mine is obviously still 4x4 ride height. For now :)

They're the 17" version - they were an R-Line factory/dealership option on some Mk4s/New Beetles.

I have a receipt from a dealer for $2800...

I like my 17"s but I'll be going to some BBS 18" when my tyres are worn out :)
