Anyway we're venturing off topic here.

Yeah didn't mean to get off topic. There was one person here that could do it but isn't very helpful (and doesn't want to) from what my mechanic was saying.. forget the name of the place.

Anyway my point was you wont get many gains without SC or turbo kit, but may be that little bit more you're chasing. I'm just spewing the headers have changed my sound on the stock exhaust as it's much quieter so may need to go to another setup.

    Wat about the manifold?????

    Bigger throttle body????

Still dont think the exhaust system (thats aftermarket)is all wat it stacks up to be.....is there any Graphs, tuning Dyno figs, showing extreme gains?

nah, i don't think there will be many out there.

and a enlargened throttle body will yield minimal gains as well. not sure about manifold, and how serious you want to get.

but maybe if we did all components, without resorting to FI, I promise our times and driveability will improve! I would be happy with that!

wel since JVLR32 doesn't want to go forced induction considering a short runner intake manifold would hurt bottom end torque which isnt a good feeling if your car is a daily driver.

plus loosing that look of those sexy plastic runners wouldnt be worth it...

I don't think i'd spend $1k on those HPA manifold intakes..

Personally I wouldn't go further than intake, headers, catback and retune unless you are tracking it a lot then get cams if there is a suitable tune around.

DSG seems to be the best mod for drags as the manual changing in mine is still too slow, so i'd concentrate on suspension & handling mods and performance driving lessons, or get an S3 .. The power isn't really enough extra to notice imo.

Maybe bug_racer could give us some info on that mk4 from youtube..

Just this vid that was earlier in the thread.. goes to show you dont need a turbo as the Polo couldn't catch it!

You'd be better just stripping the weight from the R32.. but i like having a comfortable road car as well
