Thumbs up DEBUT-Detroit Custom bodyworks MK4 gti

    hey mk4'rs,

As you are aware,my mk4 had a smash before christmas and finally its been finished! just had to wait for a couple of bits before I unveiled it here!

I have all the shots in chronological order of the repairs.

    Extra mods and changes-

    Rieger rs4 front bar

    Hella Celis lights

Half circle on bonnet removed- sleepy bonnet

lupo mirrors are now in black.

I cant speak more Highly of DETROIT CUSTOM BODYWORKS and obviously Shannons!!!!

Detroit(adam and nick) spoke to me through out the process and they were always on my side ,working with shannons on my behalf. No second hand parts!!! hehe.... The restraightening of the chassis rail was done whilst I was there.it was 15 degrees out and now its -1 degree!! aparently ,factory tolerence can be +-5degrees!!! no bog anywhere!! and all aplications of primer/paint etc was allowed to cure correctly so limiting the amout of orange peel and chances of paint not being perfect! they are really Bodywork GODS!!! thanks alot boys!!!

I wouldnt have a problem recommending them to anyone here! as I have before!!! so far adam and nick have repaired/painted over 5 of our members cars.

Nothing left for me to mod atm,,maybe a couple of little things but overall Im very happy with where the gti is !

if u have ever owned a car with sideskirts, then you will understand what a pain in the rear(or middle LOL) they are... especially with a car thats low and going over bloody speedhumps!!
anyway, there isnt a set that I really like.
the car doesnt look that bad in real life, the difference is minimal on front to side levels.

The pics really don't do it justice that paintwork is freakin awesome and overall its better than what it came out of factory looks TOIGHT!

I think side skirts to maybe some small ones but overall it could do just like that to! They will be respraying my car aswell in the next few months so hopefully that mirror finish will be like that on mine
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
