    Dashboard LCD Display problems

Hie, I have a 2002 MKIV 2.0 and my dashboard LCD just went blank after a cold start, 2 days later it came back on for 5mins and turned off.. its not completely off coz i can still see the back light is on, any ideas how to fix or where to get parts?

From memory there's a guy on eBay who specialises in fixing clusters - if you do a search for vw mk4 cluster or similar his listing should be in amongst the results. Failing that I might have one you can pull apart for parts.

Would depend on the nature of the problem - you'd have to be comfortable with removing the cluster etc.

    Found the link on Gumtree:

Audi, BMW, Land Rover, Mercedes & VW instrument cluster repair | Automotive | Gumtree Australia Bankstown Area - Revesby

I also got a problem with my center display. Mine fades if its left in hot weather but comes back after when it cools down.
With this problem you need to change the whole LCD. It's $150 quoted from the guy from the gumtree link above.
