    dash led fading in heat

    Hi again,

I have noticed my LED read out on my dash that shows fuel ecconomy fades when it is hot weather. The fading starts at the top of the read-out making it hard to read this info.

    Any fixes or ideas?

    Cheers ...

my display does the same thing. no idea why, maybe dry capacitors or something. I had a soarer with a digital dash and it used to turn off in the heat. THey fixed it by replacing some capacitors, but it could be a bit more complicated on a VW dash

Same here, Also seems a bit dependent on light. Mine usually starts fading at 18degrees
