check fuses #5 #15 #34.
Hi,
So today my cruise control has decided to stop working. Is there any common problems with it. Havn't checked the fuse yet forgot and am lazy. Happened after messing with the front bumper and installing resistor fix.
Cheers

Brake switch is a common fault and will cause your cruise to not work. Check your rear brake lights come on when you press on the brakes. There's also a switch on the clutch and their may even be another switch on the brakes (can't remember). Normally though it's the brake switch. Only like $30 or so for a new one from VW parts (should have them in stock) and is easy to fix yourself. Have a search on VWVortex for stack of how to guides. If you get an older superseded switch there are some tricks to them or you can brake them in the same way that they fail.
Cheers,
Trent

So the brake switch works i assume as the brake lights work. Not sure about the clutch switch might get a multimeter on that sometime. The light is still on the dash
