We've done around 20 episodes of this show, but it took us the first few to really find our feet and get the style and pace right. We started Jan 08 and have had a really good following since from youtube and also from the iTunes store where it is quite popular. (At TOP GEAR LIVE people were asking for autographs which gave us a laugh) but people also come up at bars, or even on the street to say that they love the show, particularly when we're in the Super Turbo because it's such a recognisable little nugget of a car.

Because there is only 2 of us we are limited to an extent on what type of shots we can get, but sometimes we call in a friend or girlfriend to stand behind a camera, or film from a car etc so we can vary the shots.

We have heaps of fun with it and we can't ask for any more than that.

i watched the video the other night, great entertaining episode with exceptional camera work. i was mesmerised in the last few minutes with the music and effects, it just worked perfectly together. keep it up guys, look forward to seeing more.

btw, what did you guys do with that March Super Turbo..? was it a mates or did you buy it and re-sell it? If you get anything like that you want to sell, can you let us know on here, i'd buy one of them! Kei cars FTW!

top work on the video, very nice! not a fan of the headlights, tails ... dealable!

agree with the ending footage/music, very nicely done!

2 negs; never screw something into your dash. get a steering column mount or pod mount from 42 draft designs, ecs, apr or vff/giac! (http://www.42draftdesigns.com/)

and other is, when you spray your caliper i would suggest taking it off otherwise you will notice the spring-rod (easiest way to describe it) will rub off and start to chip your calipers paint within a month

We bought it and still have it. There are only a couple of them in Australia and while parts are very hard to come by, it is worth it for such a kooky little car.

We are currently in pre-production of a video that we are presenting in Japanese and sending to Nissan in Japan to try and get some parts because Nissan in Australia are not very helpful.

    Hi mate,

Yes given more time we may have approached things differently but we were very stringent with our 8 hour time limit and we had to fit everything we had in that time. A boost mount would have been a nice addition and if we had it we would have used it, but I guess thats my sordid jap import history coming out in the dash screws

We never take off calipers in our videos. While it is debatable about final results etc most importantly our 'advice' from our legal friends is not to suggest anyone plays with their brakes. So we adhere to that strictly.

As far as headlights and tail lights, to be honest I think the factory ones look great, but I do think there is a definite improvement in the overall look of the car with the Hella tails and angel eyes, though it it more 'jap' looking than some purists may tolerate, and I think that's probably fair call from their perspective.

Glad you liked it though mate and thanks for the comments. We really appreciate it. May go and try and get my hands on a pod mount for Part II of the video...

if you want to do the column pod mount behind the steering wheel.

it will require the removal of the steering wheel and airbag, than removing covers. Replace with new covers and reverse the steps.

    Have fun.
