how's that different from damper adjustability ? so you mean that you can set the damper to stiff and still have comfortable ride ? sorry for the noob question ..

"damper adjustability" is the same thing. It's just a bit of an over-simplification.
Some dampers, like the Bilstein, only allow one single adjustment. When you adjust the valving, you are softening or firming both the bump (compression, wheel goes up) and rebound (extension, wheel goes down) at the same time.
With the KW V3, you can adjust the two independently, via 2 separate valves.
