    its the 2 forms of damper adjusting (the up and down strokes essentially).
    In general, yes it allows you to soften the ride or stiffen it to an extent

    "damper adjustability" is the same thing. It's just a bit of an over-simplification.

    Some dampers, like the Bilstein, only allow one single adjustment. When you adjust the valving, you are softening or firming both the bump (compression, wheel goes up) and rebound (extension, wheel goes down) at the same time.

    With the KW V3, you can adjust the two independently, via 2 separate valves.
