Clutch

Ok, my car is coming up to it's 160k service soon and i'm wanting to ask them to fix my clutch. Apart from it being squeaky, it's really heavy.

What I wanted to ask is whether it's normal for my car (2001 VW Bora V5) to have a heavy clutch or is it something unusual and can be fixed?

Thats good mileage mate. Sound like you have a tired pressure plate, you wont know yourself with a new clutch kit. You tend to get used to what you have got and a new one will feel featherlight.
