I'm currently in the process of tidying up my '01 Bora V6 4Mo, and I have a few issues, most of them I'm able to figure out, but not this one. My rear view mirror inside the cabin is all cloudy around the edges, and is a huge pain. I've noticed its on the inside of the mirror, and all attempts to clean the outside (obviously) are completely pointless.
Is this something that can be taken apart, so I can clean the insides, or because it's the auto darkening model, is it a non serviceable part, and will just need replacing?

You definitely dont want that liquid spewing out of the mirror. The results are nasty if they do.
I'd recommend looking overseas or 2nd hand. They are $670 Brand new from Volkswagen.
