    Given the low number of km I do in my car at present, I reckon I can wait till the end of January.

    What's the shelf life of a synthetic oil?

    Castrol will nominate 2 years IIRC but if the bottle is unopened & in a cool, dry place I'd go with longer

    I have Fuchs oil in mine and it seems to like it a lot.

    look in the logbook or website to find the right oil, the fsi`s dont like the wrong oil... if you hear a timming chain noise in a vw you can be almost sure some baboon has put the wrong oil in......
    GT-28-VW three hundred and something days till get licence back , couldnt resist that corrolla needed to teach it a lesson

    Guess what percentage they've taken off Castrol Edge Sport 5W30? A bit fat zero...

    Oh well, will just wait for SuperCheap to have it on sale again.
