    Casey's Bora endeavours

    Hey guys,
Thought I'd start a build thread for ya'll. Picked up the Bora last week and loving it so far! Even stock I've been getting a few looks (I think it's the white). Am going in to On The Run motorsports in clayton on monday to talk about suspension and wheel packages. Think I'll go for the KW variant2 inox-line springs but not sure on wheels yet.
    Will keep the pictures coming.

Yeah definitely and being the 4motion sport it has more luxury features than you can poke a stick at as well. Am hoping to turbo it at some stage but have realized I need to do a lot more research before I'm ready for that, so am starting from the ground up.

These things are a great car. I needed a cheap car when I changed jobs recently and dropped a company car. I was looking at base golfs and for the same money I got a 4 motion v6 bora. It is a seriously nice car to drive even 10 + years old.
    good luck with the mods.

Hate to burst your bubble but it's just a standard Bora V6 - not a sport.

Ah I know. In my earlier research (was hard to find a definite answer) had been lead to believe the front grill and 17" wheels were the identifying factors. Also thought it had 17" wheels until I went to order new ones this morning. Was glad to read after searching again after seeing your post that it was just a wheels and suspension option both of which I have just put a deposit down for
Also was told by someone that there was a function with the key that holding the unlock button will open the windows. Have tried but doesn't seem to work???

I know with the Mk 5 that this feature (windows down with key fob) can be enabled with a VagCom cable not sure if the Mk 4 ECU has this feature available.

The window option via the key can be setup on some mk4s
